During the course of our projects we have come across remarkable trees and the Treepedia is an effort to compile all that we learnt about them. Many trees are being QR coded to link back to their information here on Treepedia.

Amaltas Tree

The name is Pterocarpum. Peltophorum pterocarpum. Even Mr. Bond would want to die the same day, if he had to say that tongue-twister.

My golden yellow flowers bloom twice a year, for them I'm also called: Yellow-flame tree.

Moi Tree

मोई (Moi) is my Konkani name. I am also known as Indian Ash Tree.

When I bloom, usually from January to May, I look beautiful with hundreds of flowery spikes in yellow-green colour arranged in the shape of a sparkler or फुलझड़ी.
